Ask them what our universe is made of and their answer is waves. For the scientifically inclined this statement is believable and at times comes close to the truth but the string theory is still in its infancy. It has yet to surpass the inital stages of being a philosophy to become a widely accepted concept taught in textbooks to our young.

However our own attempts at replicating God's universe only results in approximations to the real thing shown above. What we have been able to achieve is a jittery replica that manages to grasp a few defining characteristics of what a sine wave is.

The dilemma still remains. We are unable to know, we only theorize, we only guess. However these guesses are not just some random thoughts some scientist with wiry, graying hair had. This is the work of dedicated intellectuals who try to study the world objectively attempting to isolate from it the secrets it holds within using strategies that have come to be defined as science. This term science need not be defined. In fact it cannot be defined for it is a construct within society much like our language. It is as flexible as the human mind, ever changing and ever adapting.
