Redeem in circles the treasures of foresight so that the repeating cycles may teach you as much about the past as you claim about the future. I pray for my mind to remain sane, I hope for communication, I envision progress destroying nature to replace it in time with a better structure, I seek knowledge that separates itself from earthly matters like technology, I find solace in diminishing obsessions.
Cisco

This thing sits on my desk all day allowing all sorts of buggers to well bug me. Supposedly I can use this contraption to make international calls also but I tried to no avail. Its a really nice phone actually, Cisco knows how to do things in style. It is even rumoured to have video confercing abilities (yes, yes I know the screen looks like it cant support color). It beared very well with me in the early days when I was bored to death in fact it was my salvation. I used to dial all a random number and then transfer the call to another random number. hehehe. That was fun until my name started showing up instead of a number.
Boredom

Who knew independence day could be so boring. Weekend afternoons are boring in the summers no matter what the day. The weather is too hot to afford going out and inside there is not much to do except watch crappy tele and even crappier movies. But then some idiot had the BRIGHT idea to go outisde on the streets ON 14th August to BLUE area. Heed my words child NEVER go out on 14th August especially to Blue area. In the case you do venture out you will be amply rewarded for you efforts by the fast and the furious wannabes who have large stickers on their back happily announcing their email address to the world. I hope their target audience does not consist of males. I was not able to get a lock on the guy as he was constantly changing lanes and I had to drive and take pictures with the same hand plus my car was heating up. But I did manage to snap the if-u-enter-this-traffic-u-get-stuck-for-2hours-on-a-10minute-drive type of traffic.

Animals
Cat Torture Pics: Vol I

P.S: The animals portray in the pics WERE actually harmed during production of said pics.

This contraption is supposed to keep lizards, geckos and all manner of four legged [insert biological family name here that will make me sound academically distinguished]. It does NOT work. Those icky creatures still crawl the walls and give you nightmares at night that they have fallen down the back of your shirt and you are scratching and scratching and jumping but you do not know where it has gone. eck!
This here is a guy and his E700. He kind of likes photography but then again he could not be bothered to like again and he is too lazy to get up and get some cash out of his overflowing account and buy himself a SLR, Carl Zeiss, 17 mega-pixel, instant on, shutter delay, optimized [insert lots of geek babble here] camera. Hence he makes do with a crappy phone camera that serves his passing craze.
This be a remote. It be used to randomly switch channels on a box. It be good past time. It be boring sometime. But it be pass of time. I even got TeleText to work on an Indian Channel it had the list of all the addresses and phone numbers of indian actresses and for some odd reason actors too. I dont care too much for the shape it is not very ergonomic.
Do not underestimate the power of technology. AND do not underestimate the power of the chandelier. Together combined they form the ultimate blend pseudoistic-post-neo-alter-something that is like the philo's stone, like that ancient alchemy thingi that can do oh so much damage. In short BE IMPRESSED, BE AMAZED, BEFER!
My brother had to go the Income Tax office for some reason. The journalist-cum-conspiracy theorist mood suddenly dawned upon me and I found myself prowling the debilated building that was not fit for living let alone a government office. It smelt of umm..you know what it smelt off. This here is their record keeping machinery. I tried taking out a file and it fell to pieces in my hand. Really musharraf dude, pathetic.

Feeling serene so ecstatic,
Next best to an orgasm,
Desires covered by plastic,
Your soothing balm,
Your amazing mom,
Have you replaced,
The book for a bong,
A car for a cycle,
Lines for pine needles,
Music for your soul,
Claimed it all chemistry,
Unwanted innate inclination,
Disgusting superficial ubiquity,
Mystic ephemeral continuity,
Lethargic felicity,
In love with this divide,
Praising this separation,
Senses are all placcid,
Carnality gone flaccid,
Gleeful in the land between,
Grinning in your fantasy,
Hearing every tick,
Immobile, pondering every
reminiscence, analyzing every
thought, reducing your
mind to splinters
caught on your pants,
From your trudge,
A heave to sensibility,
Lasting till the next,
Drag, lick of sniff,
My solid grasp,
Gone with one gasp,
A rising white wisp,
Sonic clarity,
Numb extremeties,
Inside, outside,
All the time,
Watch the tide,
Dancing again,
On drops of water,
Tears of a progeny,
Consumed inwardly,
In nature’s wake,
Dancing again,
In blinking lights,
Of fluctuating intelligentsia,
Settled thoroughly,
To bland mediocrity,
Dancing again,
To fiery rebellions,
Dancing again,
To ravenous music,
Dancing again,
To proclaimed joy,
Dancing again,
To a subtle death,
Dancing again,
Moving again,
Heaving again,
All over again,
The turban wielding sage,
Man pedaling joy in a cart,
The swarming Abeilles,
The drowning black,
The overwhelming white,
The seven sided cube,
The eerie green,
Cue the justification,
The lament
And the regret,
The rules are routinely rotated,
An amalgam for arduous adherence,
Cue the splice,
The driving grugde,
The guiding opiate,
The dividing schism,
The incurable patient,
The lateral thinking,
Dream of edges,
Window panes gone wild,
Silver jubilee chocolates,
Intricate incarnate infidels,
Resounding dreamy echoes,
Flowery flowing imagery,
Sarcastic noncommunicability,
Glittering tides drowning shores,
Free radicals ionizing all,
Gha na do doara istic
Pla muz tric flac uptra
Fee domi qui tray
Laudro somo hee
Celestial abominations, when leave me be,
Sarcastic innuendo, when it fades,
The realization, when it settles in,
Lost I am in my illusion,
Deep inside my own fusion,
Of things I thought I was fond,
In one single juxtaposition,
I defined my only position,
Relative are my ideals,
No ordeals, just quick deals,
Lots of ample satisfication,
With a little loose justification,
I am lost in a cave,
Hollow echoes ringing back,
Smiles on faces reaching out,
Pain is the new sensation,
Bondage to a new ideal,
Fearful of a certain line,
Misty mountains on my mind,
Fleeing hatred calling wild,
Reaching out and into sofas,
Saphire diamonds on the wall,
Pretty pictures once again,
Fade away,
Fade away,
The droning sounds of drums,
Ache felt, a kin to bums,
Sleepy beyond compare,
Dance, like I feel no pain,
Dance, like it does not matter,
Dance, like it is all all right,
Dance, and feel the music,
Dance, and be the music,
Dance, forever dance,
Dance.

Theory
India and Pakistan were meant to be one nation there was no purpose or usefulness in splitting them into two separate entities. The real reason behind the so called two nation theory which our early leaders used to elicit this piece of land from the british was a divide between provincial and federal autonomy. The Congress was leaning strongly towards a centralized government which would have eliminated all the jageerdars and their lavish lifestyles free from any real work. Jinnah and his muslim leauge whatever their true motives found in the teritorrial jageerdars of the indian subcontinent their foremost allies and supporters AND providers of votes once they announced that they would retain some provincial autonomy. Does it not come as a surprise to you that the muslim league in one election lost badly while in the very next it somehow managed to secure votes in all muslim majority areas after the league had spent time putting its case forward to the jageerdars [Sorry but I keep forgetting the exact dates].

I'm the lonely child's fright,
I'm the tunnel without light,

Praised in empty meditation
The jackal lives in our emotions,
Waiting here just to see,
Waiting jackal, pray with me,
I am love,

I'm the mortal without faith,
I'm the vulture that must wait,
Driving on, lingering on,
Praised in empty meditation
The jackal lives in our emotions,
Crying loud and running free,
Crying out jackal, cry with me,

Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn beyond the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.
Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see there is so much more
and beckons me to look through to these infinite possibilities.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.
Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line.
Reaching out to embrace the random.
Reaching out to embrace whatever may come.
I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected
enough to step aside and weep like a widow
to feel inspired, to fathom the power,
to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
of our divinity and still be a human.
[-BEGIN PART TO BE HARD-]
With my feet upon the ground I lose myself
between the sounds and open wide to suck it in,
I feel it move across my skin.
I'm reaching up and reaching out,
I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me.
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been.
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.

Isythica
Home of Odysseus, and perhaps Homer, this tiny island attracts sailors and holidaymakers from all over the world. It is very beautiful, and is surrounded by some of the clearest waters in Greece. Because it is small and a bit difficult to reach, it does not get the mass tourism that the neighbouring islands do. Therefore many celebrities like spending their holidays here - either on their yachts or renting a house.Ithaca is truly a magical place, and stands for the homecoming. Odysseus sailed for a decade to reach his home, and many sailors believe Ithaca is the ultimate goal. Its friendly people will do their best to make you feel welcome, and it is no coincidence that many return here year after year.
History
Even though Odysseus is the best known name of Ithaca, it was not he gave the island its name. According to mythology, Ithacis was the son of a Cephalonian king who settled here, and who together with his brother built a fountain that provided the whole island with water. The island has probably been inhabited since the 2nd Millennium BC, and there is evidence it was the capital of Cephalonia during the Mycenaean period (around 1500BC). This coincides with the Trojan war, and if Odysseus really existed, now is when he would have been king. The Romans occupied the island in the 2nd century BC, and later it became part of the Byzantine empire. It was constantly attacked by pirates, and made an alliance with Cephalonia in AD800.The Normands and the Franks ruled Ithaca in the 12th and 13th century, and after a 30 year Turkish rule (1479-1499) it fell into Venetian hands.Towards the end of the 18th century the island was occupied by the French, and in 1809 it was conquered by the British. In 1821 the war of Independence broke out, and Ithaca was finally liberated in 1864.Much of the island was destroyed in the terrible earthquake of 1953. Therefore most of the buildings on the island are no older than 50 years, and the Italian influence is quite obvious.
What to See
Ithacas beautiful little capital Vathy has the worlds largest natural harbour. Here you can visit the cave of the nymphs, as well as the small archeo-logical museum. Local artists have their own shops, and the many small cafes and taverns will impress you.The monastery of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) Kathara is open for visitors. It was probably built in the 16th or 17th century, and has very beautiful icons, as well as very nice surroundings. There are also some ancient ruins just outside Stavros.
What to Do
Relax!!! Ithaca is also excellent for snorkelling and some people like to climb its mountains. The nature is steep and beautiful, and has a wide range of flora and fauna, so going for long walks is a good choice. Bring lots of water, though, and prepare for some serious climbing. There are watersports, tenniscourts and daytrips to the neighbouring islands. In August there is a cultural festivals with artists and orchestras from all over the world.
Beaches
There are both sand and pebble beaches. Vathi, Frikes and Kioni all have beaches, but a great alternative is also to take a boattrip and visit some of the more inaccessible places. You'll be amazed by how clear the water actually is!
Nightlife
Ithaca is an island for relaxing but if you want some nighlife, there are two discos in Vathy. Otherwise, you can enjoy some very nice little bars and cafes with a romantic atmosphere in the evenings.
Food
The local taverns serve mostly good, traditional Greek food. Most of the local specialties are based on fish, and there are some sweets that are worth a try.
Shopping
You can find both traditional souvenirs and clothes on the island. In Vathy there are several shops with very distinct handmade costume jewelley, art works and antiques.
Getting Around
There is a bus connecting Vathy, Frikes and Kioni. Because the island is so mountainous, many find the bustrip horrific, since the roads are quite narrow and winding. There are also smaller boats that can take you around the island. A few taxis work, and you can rent a moped.
Getting There
Ithaca doesn't have an airport, so most people prefer to take a direct flight to Cephalonia or Lefcas, and a boat from there. From both islands there are ferryboats as well as excursion boats.

Tower

This is the price we pay for communication. Metal beasts looming into the sky distorting
that which was meant to be seen. There is no negative conotation to these words. It is a
price we pay for services that have become a neccessity. We are all chained to each other.
We have all been chained together as humanity for ages but those bonds have now begun to
take a more physical shape. No one is out of reach. You can now be rest assured that
everyone you know is only a ring away should you feel the sudden urge to regurgitate some
important matter. The big six keep battling it out between themselves further facilitating
our communication. Here I must praise capitalism. For all its downsides it has its ups. In
the end the consumer is the one that benefits immensely.
Shift

From chaos to order, the waters beneath my ship are beginning to stabilize but the murmurs of the quake can still be felt. It is no easy ordeal but it is for the better. The basic neccessities of life are provided for, transportation is no longer a tedious trudge in search of three wheeled smoke machines. Yet is has its downsides. I still have not gotten used to living in a smoke free environment and the stomach still craves 'bazari' oil. The mere notion that there are not 300 people outside your door you can indulge in conversation is also a let down not that I used to indulge them but still it is the thought that counts.Boredom spurs retaliation which in the past has led to good things but th
is time around no constructive benefit seems to be derived from it. I wonder if the cause could be a complete lack of interaction. This was not a boring city when I was last here maybe the other city has polluted my tastes turned me into a typical...nah that could not be the case.

Chances are these images have no significance to you. They were for me an entrance to a world which helped define part of who I am. Experiencing these images was a daily and towards the end an hourly ritual. It seems funny now that these images had become so engrained upon my mind that I had stopped noticing them. The eyes saw them and then immidiately discarded them the brain having told them that these images are of no consequence, they are seen daily. We take for granted many things even when we do not want to.
Salvation
Through these glass panes lay my salvation but for the three years that they were accessible to me I chose to ignore them. Not even on Fridays when the rest of the compound could be found within here did I feel even a slight urge to step through. Now I feel a heavy burden but that is all I feel, nothing more. At the back of my mind there is a little voice that screams that this could be, IS, the solution to all my problems but I choose to pay no heed. It is not a matter of understanding that much I understand. It is but a matter of will.
